Trail Life USA — Troop NC-1983 at Balfour Baptist Church
Trail Life USA Troop NC-1983 at Balfour Baptist Church is a Christ-centered outdoor adventure and leadership program for boys and young men. Trail Life USA exists to guide the next generation of men in honoring God, serving others, and experiencing wholesome adventure.
Our troop provides an intentional environment where boys grow in faith, courage, character, and service through activities such as:
Outdoor skills, hiking, camping, and wilderness experiences
Bible-centered devotions and faith formation
Leadership development and mentorship
Community service projects
Badge advancement and hands-on learning
Our Purpose
Trail Life USA’s mission is to guide young men to become disciples of Christ, lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and pursue excellence in all they do. As part of our church family, Troop NC-1983 reinforces biblical values and encourages boys to build strong character rooted in faith.
Who Can Join?
Troop NC-1983 welcomes boys and young men ages 5–18 who are ready for adventure, growth, and fellowship. Families are encouraged to partner with leaders to support spiritual and personal development.
